The project was born in 2020 from the enlightened vision of Daniele Nannetti, General Manager and Founder, and his partners Héctor Cuadra Muñoz and Maria Elena Aguado; the Mexican family owner of the Cuadra fashion brand of the same name, famous for its “artist” camperos handcrafted with the finest leathers.

The wonderful estate of 171 hectares of vineyards and olive groves has won the Save The Planet Best Sustainable Place award, thanks to its excellence of management and services, such as the water recovery, the exclusive use of renewable energy, as well as the application of reforestation and regenerative agriculture models.

The main body of the ancient villa, previously owned by the Albizi and then Alessandri families, has been restored respecting the style of the traditional farmhouse buildings that characterize the property. Today it offers 35 rooms and suites served by a swimming pool with bar, just perfect for a light lunch with a view. Among the many amenities, Villa Petriolo’s beauty products will enchant you with their extraordinary fragrances and strictly organic ingredients.

The resort also includes two restaurants: Osteria di Golpaja and the fine dining PS Ristorante, awarded with the green Michelin star, both directed by the Executive Chef Stefano Pinciaroli and the maître and sommelier Lorenzo Caponi who will take you on a journey to discover the excellent “house” wines, including Golpaja.

Here you can also savor the excellent estate’s organic products, reinterpreted with creativity to give you a memorable food and wine experience. Don’t miss the guinea fowl in four interpretations, the revisited panzanella and finally, the spectacular Planeta dessert which contains a true “universe” of textures and pleasures.

Surrounded by so much beauty, it’s recommended to sip a delicious Organic Cocktail whilst enjoying the extraordinary sunsets that can be admired from the panoramic terrace of the Botanic bar La Bottega, created in the spaces of the old barn.

MATER Holistic Wellness Retreat

The beautiful holistic wellness center of Villa Petriolo is located inside the property in an ancient building. Surrounded by a 1000 square meter botanical garden full of aromatic herbs and fragrant flowers, it is the perfect reflection of the biodiversity that characterizes the farm.

A corner of paradise dedicated to well-being in all its nuances where you can try phytotherapeutic face and body treatments that exploit the properties of Villa Petriolo’s cosmetic lines based on acacia, olive, pine, oak and other organic products from the estate. Inside the wellness center, it is possible to relax in the hydromassage tubs or book massages and rituals, even for couples, designed to stimulate all the senses through velvety textures, wonderful scents and sounds that bring you back to Nature.

The Secret

The location where the wellness center has been built has always been a place of great spirituality. Here there was, in fact, an ancient church built at the beginning of the year 1000, some parts of which were recovered and used as spaces for yoga and meditation.
